I was super excited to find this recipe for Homemade OxyClean the original stuff is just too pricey for me and well I just won't buy it.  The recipe below is super easy and it's stuff you should have around your home already.

Homemade OxyClean

1 cup water
1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide
1/2 cup baking soda (Arm & Hammer)

Mix together and soak laundry in it for 20 minutes to overnight and then wash as usual. Or you can just skip the water and pour the peroxide and baking soda directly into the wash with your laundry soap and wash as usual.  I started out with a quarter of a cup to a 1/2 cup. so I would start there, and see how it goes for you as well.  The only thing is I'm not sure about putting this mixture in a HE Machine and will NOT test that theory out as they are NOT cheap to replace, so if anyone has a clue as to whether or not it would be ok to put in these types of machines, by all means let us know.
