Each week many Americans head to the grocery store and fill their carts without knowing where their food came fromhow it was grown, or who grew it.

Recently, whether it's because of news items on television and the Internet or a growing personal curiosity, more and more people are beginning to ask and wonder about food production practices in America. Questions such as "Is organic food healthier than non-organic?" and "Is the planet able to sustain the amount of food we're producing?".

The U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance has created a virtual table that you are invited to sit at and ask questions about how food is grown and raised in America.

Through their website, FoodDialogues.com and Facebook page, USFRA seeks to answer the tough questions Americans have about food production practices in the U.S.. Real farmers and ranchers tell their stories and give insights into how their farms and ranches operate.

At FoodDialogues.com you'll find a series of "Learn About Your Food" videos, answers to questions about food production practices, as well as a blog thats posts about current food concerns.
On the U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Facebook page, you can provide feedback or ask questions and get responses from actual farmers and ranchers.
Follow USFRA on Twitter to get the latest updates, highlights from food- and farming-panel discussions and links that provide information on food production.

Many thanks to Caroline of Chocolate and Carrots for letting us use some of her photos from a post she did about USFRA and Food Dialogues!
